It's times like these when it's essential to work together to overcome challenges and  figure out how to move forward successfully. If you missed our latest NWVRP Member Panel you can view a recording here! This past Wednesday, the NWVRP hosted another member panel of vacation rental professionals. This time we discussed cleaning protocols and protecting guests and employees in response to COVID-19. 

Moderator John Pickart, who was recently elected President of the NWVRP,  spoke with Durk Johnson,  Executive Director of Vacation Rentals Housekeeping, and professional vacation rental managers Andy Morris, Betsy LaBarge, Toni LeGras and Ted Klassen on how existing cleaning programs can be augmented to include even more rigorous sanitization and disinfection protocols. These recommendations are below.  

These recommendations include disinfection and sanitation, proper PPE usage, using the correct products, cleaning agents and equipment, and using extra cleaning time for existing turnover timeframes.  We also discuss how to deal with upholstery, linens, bedding, trash removal, maintenance and more.
